William was born September 14, 1894 in Poland and processed as an infant at Ellis Island with his parents on May 1, 1895. In early records William is recorded with the name Boleslaus.
William F. married his wife Celia about 1919 per the date recorded in the 1930 United States Federal Census. The couple had one son Norbert Bukowski born July 13, 1920. Norbert married Dorothy Swienski and the couple had several children including their son Norbert, photographed below. Helen often documented her photographs listing the location of the photograph in her notes if she had traveled out of town.

William F. Bukowski is my 2nd great uncle. He is the brother of my great-grandmother Helen Tillie Bukowski. Helen's son Arthur Murosky is my paternal grandfather.
