Michelle M. Murosky

Our Ancestors – The Murosky & McDonald Ancestral Lines was launched February 4, 2011. The site is maintained by Michelle M. Murosky a family historian and genealogist. She has been researching her ancestors for over 15 years. The site is used to share old family photographs and genealogy research updates.

In addition to maintaining the research site she is currently working on the “Portraits of a Life” project. The goal of this project is to digitize, archive, restore and share her family’s old photographs. She has the photo collections of her great-grandmothers in her care.

The Old Family Photographs website was launched October 11, 2014. The website has been established to preserve and share the large collections of old family photographs that are in her care. Many of the photographs belonged to her great grandmothers - Helen Tillie Bukowski and Frances Philomena Selker. A number of photographs previously unknown to descendants will now be available.

Her first book Our Ancestors:Volume 1: The Murosky and Bukowski Ancestors was completed in December of 2011. The book was dedicated to her paternal grandfather Arthur Murosky. The 276 paged hard backed book features a collection of family tree research, historical records and family photographs for the Murosky and Bukowski ancestors.

In addition to spending time working on family history or restoring old family photographs she owns and operates MB Boutiques with her husband. She also maintains the research blog Discovering Sally Ann - An Adoptee's Journey to find her birth family using DNA Analysis. She has been assisting a cousin in her journey to locate her birth family.
